YaLa Press is a blog and new media platform for young activists from all over the Middle East and North Africa to share original and fresh perspectives on a variety of issues. The platform was created by YaLa Staff to showcase works by the participants of the YaLa Academy Citizen Journalism Program. Its contributors come from Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Cameroon and beyond.
